OUR LOVE STORY
Our Chemistry Started Here
Our journey began in 2018, in a rather unlikely place: a chemistry class at Polytechnique Montréal. I admit, I made quite the first impression by being late, a cardinal sin in our professor's eyes!
I'd like to think my friendly, and perhaps funny, personality helped us connect, as I found myself captivated by her daily stories and concerns. She was, and still is, everything wonderful: brilliant, joyful, and utterly bubbly, with a playful, almost childish charm and an infectious smile. We built a strong friendship, which quickly evolved into constant companionship.
Then, on October 8th, 2018, something truly special happened: we made it official. That day was the genesis of our beautiful love story, a story that continues to unfold with every shared smile and every playful moment.
Fast forward to
After those early days in chemistry class, our story truly began to unfold. She dove into mechanical engineering, and I immersed myself in software engineering. Polytechnique Montréal challenged us both, and it wasn't always easy – balancing demanding studies with nurturing our relationship took dedication. There were late-night study sessions, challenging exams, and moments of doubt, but through it all, we were each other's unwavering support system. We pushed ourselves, not only to achieve our personal academic goals but also to make our families proud.
We stood strong, side by side, through every hurdle and triumph. Now, having both successfully graduated from our respective fields, we’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come. Our journey from those university halls to this moment has been filled with growth, resilience, and an even deeper love. This wedding isn't just a celebration of our commitment; it’s a testament to the journey we've shared, and the unwavering bond that continues to grow stronger every single day. We can't wait to share this next chapter with all of you!
The proposal
After years of building our lives together, supporting each other through university, and sharing countless moments, we knew our future was meant to be intertwined. Meeting with our parents solidified our shared vision, and it became clear that the next exciting chapter of our adventure was marriage.
But before we could say "I do," there was one very important question to ask. So, on November 2nd, 2024, I gathered all my courage and asked my beloved to marry me. And in a moment I'll cherish forever, she said yes! That day marked another beautiful milestone, setting us on the path to becoming husband and wife.
